Hello and welcome
I’m Victoria Hostland, your guide to navigating cognitive health.
I am a certified health and life coach (RHC), with a focus on health coaching as it pertains to cognitive health. You are unique and, as such, I tailor each one on one program to suit you as an individual. I also offer group sessions, The Cognitive Care Connection, designed to provide those who care for and about loved ones in cognitive decline with an exclusive opportunity to connect. Finally, I just want to take a moment to thank you and let you know how grateful I am that you have stopped by.

My Life's Mission
I am impelled to work with and help those who want to do everything they can to prevent cognitive decline.
Through personal and professional experiences, I recognized that there is a desperate need for group coaching those who are the caring members for their families and friends in cognitive decline; to assist these caring people in any way I possibly can. I offer this support through The Cognitive Care Connection.
Quite simply, coaching is my life's journey and exactly what I am meant to do.

My Story
I am blessed to be living my life. I am married to an amazing first responder and together we have three wonderful daughters. My world is full and I have the life that I always dreamed of, however, it has not come without struggle. Our second daughter was born with a myriad of issues that threw me into health care mode. I researched, learned and worked with her doctors. I created a business that allowed me to coordinate with my husband's schedule and look after our girls. Then, just when I thought I had a handle on everything, she was diagnosed with a serious autoimmune disease. It was back to the books for me and, once again, I did whatever I needed to in order to care for her. Meanwhile, our oldest and youngest daughters and I were diagnosed with our own autoimmune diseases. I was fully invested in educating myself, which is an ongoing process, and working proactively toward creating the healthiest version of us possible. All things considered, life was fairly calm for a while. Then, enter the cognitive decline of both my mom, and to a lesser extent, my dad. Witnessing and caring for two people who I love so much spiral from being dynamic, creative and strong individuals has been an emotional roller coaster. Experiencing these highs and lows, in conjunction with the extensive health journey I have lived since our second daughter's birth, led me to the realization that there was no choice; this is my calling. I am impelled to work with and help those who want to do everything they can to prevent cognitive decline. And so, after completing an extensive program that combined hundreds of hours of both academic and coaching opportunities, I became a certified Health & Life Coach. Once graduated, I recognized that there is a desperate need for group coaching those who are the caring members for their families and friends in cognitive decline; to assist these compassionate people in any way I possibly can. I offer this support through The Cognitive Care Connection. Quite simply, coaching is my life's journey and exactly what I am meant to do.
